Threads of Life

At Gardeners' World Live 2026

Sketching a vision

I love the creative process behind designing a show garden and the attention to detail involved in bringing an idea to life. This completed sketch brought together months of ideas and became the blueprint for 'Threads of Life'.

Sowing the Seeds of Love

From seed sowing in the greenhouse to creating community projects and show gardens, I love the process of nurturing something small and watching it grow into something beautiful.

Pop up flower stall at Chill@thecowshed

Filled with seasonal plants and handmade touches, the stall helped raise funds for Threads of Life and support the Manchester & District MNDA branch. It also created opportunities to connect with the local community, share the story behind the project and raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease through meaningful conversations.

Mapping Out

I love the creative process and the attention to detail involved in bringing an idea to life. Mapping out the design helped me to experiment, make adjustments and bring the vision one step closer to reality.

Threads and bobbins

Textiles and sewing have long inspired my creative work. From colourful threads to vintage bobbins, these details weave symbolism, memories and storytelling throughout Threads of Life. Every thread tells a story, with colours and textures representing creativity, connection and the experiences that link generations together.
